Neat little artists nook in downtown buffalo. Does custom, small run printing.
Lovely very unique little shop. Their book making and screen printing classes are tons of fun and its really satisfying to go home with something you've made. Lots of cute little things you can buy- prints, postcards, posters, paper flowers etc. Quirky literary locals are bound to dig it.
My husband booked (bad pun, sorry not sorry) is a book binding class here. It was a blast. Got to meet really cool people from all different walks of life. The class was really interesting. The instructor was patient and helpful. And at the end of the class we had our own handmade books to take home. Definitely a cool way to spend a Saturday. Looking forward to trying a print making class!
Fun to see even if you are just passing through, but even better if you are around and can take a class or attend one of their events. The Center has a basement full of antique letter presses that you can take a class and learn to use, an art gallery on the first floor, and a small store area with books and art materials that you won't find anywhere else in the city.
