I knew what i wanted when i walked in there. asked about a speaker system and they said it was discontinued 8 years ago. Then they asked why i wanted that and they said they weren't any good anyways. They tried to sell me paradigm speakers that cost more money. I then asked him if they were made in Canada because that's were i heard they were made. He said no they were made in China. Then went to stereo advantage they had just what i was looking for. I was told that speaker system i wanted just came out and he gave it a high recommendation. If you want Chinese speakers then buy from the speaker shop that's were most of them are made anyway.
My system required quite a bit of design and trial and error to get it right. There were electrical issues in the house and equipment testing that needed to be done. I can't say enough about the team at the Speaker Shop, not only is the equipment right, but the re-design of the system is spot on. If you want more than just equipment, but people who have a passion and care about getting it right, this is the only shop to consider.
ONE of my all time favorite stores! If you are into great sounding audio this is the place to come and buy. The staff is great! Lots to choose from! Can't wait for my next purchase at the Shop!
There are very few stores today that offer the experience, customer service and know how the Speaker Shop provides. I have been a customer for more than thirty years and I've never been disappointed. They have never tried to oversell me, but they've always taken the time to make sure I am aware of various options. I've purchased home theatre and stereo equipment there through the years and I've always appreciated that I've never felt rushed into buying anything. Also, they have always been very fair when it comes to pricing and very honest and up front about what you're buying and how different pieces of equipment compare with one another. They have a wide assortment of the best (quality wise) equipment. After having also shopped at Audio Craft in Cleveland several years ago, developing a relationship with the folks at the Speaker Shop was like a breath of fresh air. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I high recommend that if you're in the market for a home theatre or great stereo you check them out first. I doubt you'll go anywhere else.
