I've been in this place twice and both times treated rudely by the owner and his son. I understand it's a pawn shop and they have to deal with unsavory people, but it's unfair to judge all your potential customers like they are drug addicts or criminals just because they are short on cash for a legitimate emergency.
For the two people that commented lies. It's sad these people build their business from the ground up I go there every single day and I have never not once had a single disagreement with them and I've been going there for almost a month now their prices are awesome the people that work there are awesome the owner his son and the other worker are just phenomenal I mean I just don't understand why you guys have to make up things or try to throw dirt on others because your life is miserable. For any new customers please do not listen to any comments that are hateful ignorant or off-topic I promise you visit there and you will not be unsatisfied.
These gentleman are knowledgeable and fair and you have to remember they're in business to make a living I had a great experience they worked with me 100% And I will continue to use this pawn shop regularly they have a good inventory and I'm extremely happy to have found this particular store
I would Have to agree with bugzy folks. I go in here pretty regularly for both purchases and loans. I have gotten some really great deals on merchandise and even hit a homerun with an anniversary gift. I have gotten loans and never a problem, really friendly and polite staff give them a try see for yourself..
So many fake reviews. It's a Pawn Shop in South Buffalo but have reviews like a 4 star restaurant!! Like the one who said he's been going there for a few years, they've barely been open 2. Lived 6 streets away from their location for a little over 13 years and can tell you first hand they will offer you a minimum of 20% less than other pawn shops. I know through experience. Also I couldnt agree more with the review that stated you WILL be treated as and offered a price on your item as if you are a drug addict. I get a heavy portion of people selling there probably have an issue, however everyone who walks through the door is not an addict or there to sell. Their selection is minimal given they will not pay the extra buck or two for quality items (look at their tool selection lol). Had a Ryobi tool kit almost new which retails for about $150.00 they offered $20.00 for the whole set all the while selling a 1st gen Ryobi tool kit for $90.00. Admittedly they care more about their online market and could care less if you buy/sell anything at physical store so dont expect the service or quality of items to improve. Seriously next time you want to sell something here, try Facebook Market 1st.
Their business thrives on the misfortune of others and they make it quite evident that they have no sense of compassion or understanding that decent, hardworking people may need their services from time to time. I didn't expect a shoulder to cry on or for them to give us the face value of our item, I was only hoping that another human being would be respectful to me as a customer who they were making money from and also quite possibly frequent their store for future purchases. Makes good business sense, right?
I will never step foot in this place again.
