I love everything about M A Laurie Jewelers! When my fiance and I were looking for an engagement ring, we shopped around first at some of the big name jewelry stores (Andrew's, Zale's, etc). They were all pushy salespeople and had poor quality diamonds for our price range. Then we walked into M A Laurie and got more than we expected. Mike didn't just show us what he had to offer; he took the time to educate us on diamonds and styles so we would be completely satisfied with our choice. I had a design in mind and they were able to create it for me. It's been about three years and I'm still getting compliments from strangers on how beautiful it is. I literally couldn't be happier with the experience we had with M A Laurie Jewelers. I recommend them to everyone and will definitely return for our next jewelry purchase. THANK YOU MIKE LAURIE!
If it were possible to give this place negative stars then I would. Their prices are ridiculously high for the poor quality of jewelry. The owner was a pompous, arrogant and pretentious man that treated us like we were not worthy of being in their presence. I would not recommend this place to anyone that wouldn't want to be treated in such an insulting manner. Never again will we step foot into this poor excuse for a jewelry shop.
M.A. Laurie Jewelers is the absolute best jeweler I have ever dealt with. Over 20 years ago, Michael helped my wife and I choose a diamond to go into a an engagement setting we fell in love with at another jeweler in Buffalo; this jeweler was not accommodating and not willing to deal with a young couple. Michael knew the design we wanted and suggested that Randy, his gold smith, create it for us. Not only did he create the engagement ring, but created a matching wedding band. Gorgeous! I will not let anyone but M.A. Laurie Jewelers touch my jewelry. Living in the south does not make it quite as convenient, but anytime we are in the Buffalo area a stop to M.A. Laurie Jewelers is essential. Recently I had a ring resized and Randy was very quick to get it done perfectly.
