I spent hundreds of hours as a young man doing research here and it has always been a great meeting place with friends.
A charming neoclassical building in the heart of Lackawanna, astonishingly intact and unchanged since last visited over half a century ago. The architecture, and indeed the whole concept of the building, ought to be lesson in getting a public library exactly right. Staff welcoming and friendly. Brought back wonderful memories.
