JRB Painting Unlimited took our house from drab to Fab! When John quoted the job, he was very observant of the multiple issues our old stucco house had: chipped paint, broken stucco, rotted wood and rusty old iron railings. Day by day the John and his awesome crew repaired, replaced, scrapped and rolled out a paint job that we and our neighborhood will admire and enjoy for years to come. People have been stopping by the house and complimenting the transformation. We owe it to the terrific team of painters that John has assembled and their care for a job well done. We could not decide on the colors so we trusted him to pick the final colors. The finished paint and trim is spectacular. We are located on the busy Hertel Avenue strip and are very proud of our building now.
His crews cleaned up the interior and exterior every day so there was never a mess to deal with. His crews are courteous and reliable and highly skilled. I gave him full access to the house and he was very trustworthy.
This is the second time JRB has painted the interior of my house. They painted the entire downstairs including kitchen, living room, dining room and hallway. John and I reviewed the main color but basically it was his and his staff that picked out all the rest of the colors. My initial instinct is go more conservative, but I left it up to them as I know they are good with color and it looks so wonderful, the kitchen is so warm and the rest has a more trendy, modern look which is a nice contrast to my hardwood floors and traditional fireplace. I would absolutely recommend JRB and if you decide to use them, trust them with color.
My office is a two-story building that was in dire need of a facelift. The building needed a new paint job but a lot of the shingles were rotten and deteriorated and needed replacement. John was able to perfectly match the style of wood so you are unable to tell where the replacement shingles are.
I am so happy that we hired JRB Painting to transform the exterior of our home. From beginning to end they were a pleasure to work with. The owner John was out to my home within a few hours of initial inquiry and provided me with multiple examples of his work, a clear description of what he would do, and a fair price. He spent an hour with me at Sherwin Williams and he gave me good advice about color choices. He was also patient while I (slowly) arrived at the conclusion that he was right after testing lots of samples. His crew was exceptionally hard-working, attentive to detail, and respectful of our property. We also appreciated just how pleasant they all were to be around. They were helpful, funny, kind to my children (whom they played with and even fed hot dogs on their break one day) and they were careful to clean up after themselves. The before and after pictures say it all, our house looks brand new for a fraction of what residing it would have cost. We are very happy with the results and we will use JRB again.
John gave me a great, affordable price and was very communicative. Anytime I had a question he would text or call me back promptly. His paint team is real nice and hard working.
I asked him to remove an extra door on the porch that was not needed and to remove a very old built into the wall air conditioner. Again he was able to match the exterior to make it look like there never were any openings in the walls. It required a lot of interior drywall and trim and these were installed with the highest quality of workmanship.
John and his crew did two major jobs for me. My office first, and then because of our total satisfaction with that job, we hired him to totally renovate our 2 family rental property.
