This park is very beautiful, no matter the time of year. There are many paths to walk or ride a bike, especially around Hoit Lake. There is a playground, a wonderful rose garden and free Shakespeare during the summer. The only downside is how close it is to the expressway, making it a safety hazard, especially with small children.
Delaware park is a beautiful inner city park to escape the hustle and bustle and relax in a peaceful setting. This is a large park full of pathways connecting other landmarks in the neighborhood like Albright Knox art gallery. So much to see and do and great people around. This is the "city of good neighbors." If you are very picky you can find little things here to complain about but as a whole its still great. Definitely a place to check out.
This is an amazing park. The sheer size of it just blew my mind. The summer trees look great to see and I didn't have time to even explore the whole park. There is a zoo close by and parking is free outside the zoo parking lot.
Always a beautiful park to visit. I highly recommend you visit the rose garden just south of Marcy Casino. The garden is just breathtakingly beautiful, with a delightful aroma of fresh roses and other flowers.
Big park! Lots of room to run, play, watch, bike, golf, hang out. Great history too if you're interested in taking the self-guided tour.
