My personal favorite place to shop for my groceries. Freshest veggies around. The meats always look good and fresh. Customer service is fantastic. Store and parking lot are well maintained. Going there today. Gets very busy during the day. If your one to avoid the crowd and rush go late in the evening or very early am. I'd say before 7-8 am
I love Wegmans. Their prices are lower than Tops supermarket!! On every product!! Great Cafe with wonderful food. Lots of lovely prepared foods to choose from in different sections of the supermarket. Terrific Natural/Organic Foods section. Only supermarket in town that has grass-fed beef and lamb. Nice clean store, nice clean restrooms. Large produce area and great variety. Extremely busy, especially on Saturday. The cart traffic is hectic and the checkout lines can sometimes be kinda long. I use the self-checkout but its only for 20 items or less. But overall it's always a good shopping experience at Wegmans. Really, it's the only worthwhile supermarket in town. However, if you want to shell out $50 up front, BJ's Wholesale Club just down the street from Wegmans is quite wonderful as well.
Wegmans is superior to other supermarkets! It's always clean and the staff are friendly and informed and will help in any way they can in over 25years that I've been a wegmans shopper I've never once heard the phrase "sorry that's not my department" God I can't stand that! An employee will always lead you to who or what you need and also the cafe is nice and the food from all over the world. It's a great place.
Overall this is a great store. They practice excellent food safety.
Wonderful, delicious cake for my husband's citizenship party-fresh strawberries in the middle gave it a wonderful flavor with the half chocolate & half vanilla cake. Not too sweet with the frosting-big hit with everyone! Love you guys!
They sometimes run out of basic and/ or popular food items, at times for weeks. A lot of specialty food items I loved, they suddenly discontinued or replaced with something similar that costs three times as much. This has happened frequently over the last several years.
