I am learning disabled and find it very difficult to understand the NFTA bus schedule. Security police need to ride the rails with the students during peak school hours. It can be scary because the kids are so loud and fight!
Way to rep the city......July 4th....Canalside......the public was told additional buses would be running.....LIE! Had to wait with children 45 minutes for the 5 bus and then barely got on! Maybe you should be looking for a new transportation coordinator! I would have been better off taking my car!

I work in customer service. This kind of service would never fly.
Never have they said anything like, "we're sorry your pass never showed up" and instead blamed me for my pass never showing up. The first time it was, "you ordered with your debit card? Well, that's why. You need to use PayPal if you order it." This time it was, "did you check with your property manager? I mean, why aren't you geting your mail?" I don't have a property manager, btw. I live in a duplex.
I've had to call the cash office a few times over the years because my bus pass doesn't show up. I only save a few dollars buying the pass, and usually just eat the loss of money. But as a low income rider on a tight budget, this time I asked for my money back.
It is better than driving in my opinion no stress about traffic and what not. Plus the prices are affordable and there are half rates if you have medicaid I think they sell reloadable gift cards now too I will have to look out for this and post my findings
The drivers are fine, I actually like them a lot. This review is all about customer service.
Today was my first time using the bus system to get home from williamsville to west seneca I paid for the daily fare $5 because I would need to transfer to different transit. It took a little over 2 hours but I don't mind because the drivers are very nice I asked how to pay for the fare and the driver let me know how to use the ticket machine plus I love the fact google maps lets me see when the bus schedule is and what bus to get on.
Useless. Most routes only run once, maybe twice an hour, service is REDUCED on weekends, fare machines don't make change, fare is high yet the Metro Rail stations are falling apart...tells you everything you need to know, if you know what I mean. Unacceptable for a city of Buffalo's size and they refuse to get with the times and adapt to the city's recent boom. Just drive a car or use Uber.
So I got on at the main street bus stop near citizens bank people were friendly enough. I transferred about 40 mins later to the subway line and took that downtown not too bad then I waited for the connection to arrive another passenger asked me for change from a bigger bill I did not have it I apologized and he was very courteous buffalo is a pretty safe place to ride the bus line I got on my connecting bus and was able to learn the request stop method for busses pretty neat.
