Suprisingly intresting, the displays and artifacts were great learning about local firefighting history.kids will have fun in the driving simulator
Wonderful collection of local firefighting artifacts. The firefighters there love to show you around and explain everything. Great place to lookup Buffalo Fire history and take scout groups on tours.
However the guide my girlfriend and I had during our tour was knowledgeable he had an unsavory distrust for our government. This was towards the end of the tour, we arrived at the 911 exhibit... "what do you know about 911?" "What ever you learnes in achool is wrong." He began to say how it was a conspiracy and how there wasn't a need for the firemen there. He didn't even know 343 made their last alarm that day. I do not wish to learn your beliefs... I want to kill own the history.
Thought the prices on display were interesting and historical relevance to paid and volly agencies.
This building is full of fire department artifacts dating back to the early 1800's. The docents, retired Buffalo FD members, told us some great stories that made some of the exhibits much more interesting. Great location. Stuff for kids and us more seasoned folks to enjoy.
Lots of interesting things, great history.
