Food is delicious and service is ok. However, my husband and I were harassed inside the building by a group of people who were of less means because we didn't buy them food or give them money. It was out of control! I won't go back because it was not controlled by the employees (maybe ask them to leave or call the cops? Help out the paying customers instead of standing behind the counters watching?) We were even followed down the street being yelled at and swore at by the group. I was actually scared to death. I thought I was going to get beat up for not feeding the homeless. We were very polite to them and explained we didn't carry cash. That made them even more mad. Get security in the downtown location!
If I can give this place 0 stars, I would. My buddies and I walked in laughing and the employee at the register (guy with the nose ring) would not serve us because he claimed we were acting "foolish" I thought he was joking until he told us to leave. I was taken back and bothered at how disrespectful this guy was being. This was the first time in my life that I walked into an establishment and was told that I was not welcomed to eat there. It's not a great feeling especially when you did nothing wrong. Then I tried calling to speak to a manager but the same employee was being rude and just kept hanging up on me. Their excuse was there are a lot of bars around and they deal with a lot of drunk people. I guess everyone that laughs is clearly drunk. I think corporate should come up with a better method for training their employees when it comes to customer service because what ever they're doing now, is clearly not working. You were completely unprofessional and left a bad taste in my mouth. I truly hope you change because it seems like people really enjoy your product. To bad I will never have that opportunity because that was the first and last time that I will ever walk into a Jim Steakout restaurant. Good day.
Last night after 11 0'clock I ordered 2 chicken hoagies from the downtown location...Drove home to Lackawanna...After eating a quarter before going to bed...This morning my fiancés tells me that it was beef!!!!!!!!! I haven't eaten beef in almost 19 years!!!!!!! SO ANGRY RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The grease is flowing but the chicken wings are delicious (order them crispy.) The sandwiches are ok but wings and tacos are the way to go. Don't forget to grab a loganberry drink.
It was very dirty, garbage was overflowing. Apparently a great place to go if you're hammered
