Very disappointing. Service was terrible- our server did not want to serve us. Food was good, but it took a very long time to get the correct order. It was a large party but the hostess said it wouldn’t be a problem. Unfortunately the server disagreed. We were obviously an inconvenience to him.
Server was annoyed that we took pictures and held him up for 2 mins before taking our order. Orders were delivered incorrectly. Not worth the trip downtown or the price paid. Really unhappy with the experience overall.
I actually think the name of this place is a little deceiving. I thought of it as a place to drink wine and maybe grab a small bite. This place has phenomenal dinners. Bacchus is a full-scale restaurant that everyone should check out. The food was off the charts. It was such a surprise in a good way. I am a steak snob through and through. I love the best of the best steakhouses in New York City or anywhere I travel. when I had a steak at this place I was blown away. This rivals the best of the places I've ever been. Truly worth checking out. Go there for dinner you will not be disappointed.
I’ve never had a bad meal here, love the food and the excellent service! Plus, they valet for free which is very convenient!
Appetizer (burrata) was excellent. I had the bouillabaisse, which was all it was hyped up to be. Just the right spice and great flavors. My wife had the salmon, which was tasty but a little disappointing. The turn off was the bill charging for a bottle instead of a glass of wine. Mistakes happen, but this one was not dealt with appropriately. The amount was adjusted, but nothing in the way of apology or compensation was offered. It churns in me, maybe inappropriately, but its troublesome and makes me think of being scammed. Yeah, mistakes happen, but I was NEVER charged the other way around (a bottle of wine mistaken for and charged for a glass).
