We barely had time to take a two sips and the appetizer arrived. The cauliflower bites were very tasty.
We were visiting Buffalo and chose this place for dinner based on the menu, reviews and decor. We made an early reservation for 5:30 to avoid the crowds, have a leisurely dinner and make it to our concert on time. This was also my belated birthday dinner.
My wife and I stopped in during Sunday brunch to have a drink at the bar. Daniel, the bartender was excellent and knew a lot about the area - what to see and do. The cocktails and burger were amazing. Definitely will be back.
Good food but we were seated kind of close together in the one section.
I went to the washroom between courses and as I sat down our mains arrived. My partner said it looked as if they had been waiting for me to come back. That would have been about 4 minutes between apps and main.
Our waiter was attentive but he rushed the entire experience. No sooner had he dropped off our cocktails he dropped off his tray, pivoted and was back to take our order. As we reached for our glasses to cheers he was hovering at the table with pen and paper. It was an awkward moment for us.
The sea bass was very good and my partners eggplant was also good, although the edges were a little burnt. However, we ordered hand cut fries and received very large, slightly undercooked wedge/steak fries. Not what we expected. It was nice of them to adjust the bill accordingly.
My boyfriend and I went here for our anniversary and everything was superb. Our waiter Nick was some of the best waitstaff in all of Buffalo. He was both professional and personable. He made sure we felt like a million bucks. The food was all amazing. We have a thing for mussels and these were different then usual the same ol', same ol' kind you find at most places... Our food coma was recouped by the best espresso I've ever had in the USA. The atmosphere, staff, and food all exceed expectations. Go here, and have Nick treat you to a true culinary experience. Kudos Patina, thanks for an excellent night!
My partners passion fruit cosmo was delicious but my autumn mule cocktail was a little too sweet, the sweetness stole the distinctive ginger beer flavour.
We appreciate efficient service but at that price you want to be able to enjoy the entire experience, savour the flavours and have a little time between cocktails and courses to connect.
The food was very good but the service was rushed and our table was noisy and breezy.
We were too stuffed for deserts.
Although the dining room was empty, they sat us in the large open room by the door where the volume from the bar was loud and we got blasted with air every time the door opened. We could barely hear our waiter when he was talking to us. In the next hour they sat other tables in the dining room but the pace didn’t fill up.
Good service, food was fine, but a bit underwhelming for the price
When the bill came I noticed our bill had a higher price for the appetizer versus the menu. Our waiter offered to adjust it but we said no.
