"Hungover going back to bed" - Renee's response when I notified her that we had water leakage in the bedroom. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!? It didn't take long for me to realize this type of unprofessionalism was the norm working with Red Door. AVOID THEM. Our water leakage issue began in December. It took SIX MONTHS AND A LETTER FROM OUR LAWYER for Red Door to - get this! - even send a plumber. Worse, they didn't listen to the plumber to resolve the issue. The leak continued until August, when we moved out. My sister slept in the dining room to avoid the wet tiles literally falling onto the floor (while she slept!) because Red Door was often unresponsive and shockingly inept. We were straight-up lied to on more than one occasion.
We worked with Renee when we bought our first house 7 years ago, she was always fun and knew what we were looking for!! She made house buying and selling so much less stressful!! When it was time to sell our house and buy a bigger one because our family was growing we knew we were going to call Renee!! She found us our perfect house to move into and she listed our current house, pushed it, and had open houses so we could sell our house fast so we can by our dream home!! She has so much energy and puts 110% into helping you find what your looking for!! I would recommend Renee and her team to anyone!! Thank you so much Renee!!
Notice that there are mostly 5 star and 1 star reviews: My guess? Those with 5 stars had smooth sailing because they didn't encounter an issue with their property. Live in a Red Door property long enough, and you will join the 1-star reviewers in discovering this business' unprofessionalism and utter incompetency. Don't risk it!!! If we hadn't received our security deposit back, Red Door would have a lawsuit on their hands.
So my fiance n i were denied a loan from the mortgage company and it has been almost a month now and we still have yet to recieve our ernest deposit back from red door real estate ...ive been told i would get a call back several times from two females who answer the phones .. but no one has called me back in regards to giving me my money back ... im still waiting ... i would not recomend this company to anyone seeking a home .. the communication is only good when you have money for them .
We worked with Liz to sell our condo and buy our home. It's great to work with a local agency that is excited about the growth in buffalo. She was very patient and showed us a lot of great options while we were looking. She also connected us with great people for the rest of our home buying needs who were fabulous. My husband and I love our new home and we're happy to have our condo go as quickly as it did!
