I have stopped by a few times, in search of a particular piece. There are always many interesting things to look at! Staff was friendly, and helpful as well as the 4 legged staff! Cute store, and always seem to have new items when I stop by. Hoping my "piece" will show up.
Just left and am NEVER going back! I only stopped because I saw a huge 20% off everything sign outside. I walk in, the owner says, "everything in the store is on sale!" A few minutes later another employee reiterates "that everything in the store is 20% off today!" I said, "everything?"... "EVERYTHING!", she replied! I was there looking for inexpensive furniture for a needy family who hasn't had a piece of living room furniture in 9 years! I repeat 9 years! Then I spotted a tween sized plaid chair and asked the extremely rude and condescending gay kid at the front desk (not enough room to elaborate, just trust me!) how much it was? And he wouldn't sell it to me, let alone give me the 20% off discount. What a horrible experience all around! PS $3,000.00 for a used couch? but won't give a family with literally! not a chair to sit on! a PROMISED-ADVERTISED 20% off discount. I feel like Pretty Woman, "Big mistake....Huge!"
My experiences at Pfohl's have always been entertaining, and every so often I can't help but take an item home. The staff and owner Melissa is friendly and always there, for anyone looking for upper echelon items!
