The entire place is covered in a few layers of dust and dirt and everything is stacked on top everything else causing some of the items to break under the weight. It's plain to see that this is a place where items are stored and not cared for. The worst is when I asked for help. I wanted to look at a vintage mirror stacked up behind a pile of frames. I was having trouble seeing the size and repair of the mirror. Instead of assisting me to look at the mirror, the owner instead aggressively insistently repeated that need to agree to buy the mirror before he moved the pile of frames on top allowing me to see the the rest of the mirror. Instead of treating me like a valued customer he acted as if I was there to steal his time and inconvenience him even though that was the first time I asked for assistance. We left immediately. He's not a salesman. Here's a hoarder.
What a wonderful store! Superb service, excellent antiques, and at a great price too!! Best deal in town. A hidden treasure to be sure. You have got to step in the door to understand the amount of inventory they have, it will blow you away!!!
I came to visit my parents from Northern Virginia and decided to shop for vintage pieces. I just moved to a new home and have full pockets. I couldn't wait to spend some cash.
