This inpatient Mental Health facility is the best in Buffalo. They have Groups you're not just sitting around all day watching the clock slowly tick tock. And staff is always available and courteous.

I am editing this on 6-15-17 to explain that I tried calling the number provided in the response comment by BryLin multiple times and no one answered.
Someone close to me was a patient there. Not only was she was treated poorly, but the doctor at Brylin that was designated to her was horrible. She had no idea how to assess or treat the situation and ended up causing more damage then harm. And even when I asked to speak with the doctor, she was never available. I left 4 messages WITH the staff for the doctor or even the psychologist to respond but to no avail. The staff at times were very rude especially the door man, and the nursing staff never had thorough information on the situation. I wouldn't send anyone to this facility.

This place is horrible in mental health. My daughter went there for treatment and its the worst place for any child. My daughter would call every night and tell me how bad this place is. The mental health dr miller is the worst i have ever seen. This guy should not have a licence to practice medicine. Every time i try to get answers they try calling cps. I am totally on bed rest due to a heart condition and can not travel for visits. I made the doctor and staff aware of this when she started treatment. I do care about my daughters health and treatment. I talk to her multiple times a day and staff but is being targeted because of my health. Filing a law suit and letting. The public know. Please dont let your child be mistreated. I know you want whats best for your child. Say no to this place. I had to give one star but really they deserve no stars
Horrible facility. You will be belittled, and if you need urgent help no one will care to do anything for you. Instead of talking to you like a person they will push drugs on you and treat you like garbage for the entire stay.
My family member was admitted to the Elmwood facility twice. While there were limits placed on her during her stay, she left each time with hope at having had much care. The staff is professional and courteous. The facilities are clean. The care is unparalleled.
