My husband and I really enjoyed this tour. Joel was awesome; he was funny but also informative. The bus was a lot of fun. We went on a tour in October when it was a little chilly, so I look forward to doing a tour next summer during the nice weather as well.
What a fun evening! Six "mature" ladies enjoyed the Mystery Bus Tour on a beautiful Saturday evening. Officer O'Connor, the lead character, picked on (I mean engaged) many of the passengers. Everyone seemed to enjoy his quick wit. You need to be a tiny bit open minded, but we thought he was hilarious. The rest of the actors stayed in character while mingling with the guests answering questions aimed at solving the crime. We also enjoyed the ride through the old First Ward and seeing the effects of Buffalo's resurgence. Flying Bison Brewery and the Barrel Factory were very nice and a peak into the future of the new old Buffalo. Swannie House, an iconic Buffalo spot, was really, really crowded. We had a great time and I highly recommend the mystery tour.
Loved this tour! Our guide was informative but extremely entertaining and kept us laughing throughout the tour. We live near Buffalo but thought this would be a good way to see all the new exciting projects and buildings happening in the city. Our bus driver was incredible! How she maneuvered that bus was amazing! Would highly recommend the "Best of Buffalo" tour to all. We plan to go back and take a different tour with this same bus!
My girlfriend and I are visiting family. We are here from the Pittsburgh area. Yesterday we walked through the naval and military park and saw this Irish guy giving a tour on one of the ships. Today when we walked up to the bus he was our tour guide. Amazing doesn't describe the job he did! The history was neat and done in a legitimate comedic way. You can tell he loves this city. I would recommend doing all of his tours, it's for all age levels! Great for locals or people visiting!
This was the 2nd time we took this tour - and it was still as enjoyable and we had new "facts" (or stories as we were told) shared! Our host, Officer O'Connor is a great story teller and we found this just as much fun to go again.
We brought out of town guests this time and they talked a lot of how much they enjoyed this tour! Fun time had by all - so much so we've booked the paranormal tour for a couple of weeks from now! Looking forward also to going to some the businesses that were highlighted that we didn't know existed - great advertisement for their businesses...
