If you rent vehicles often for business, I can't think of a better company than National. I've been renting with them since I was 22 (dad's company plan allowed me to rent under 25) and have been loyal to the brand ever since. I always get a clean car with a full tank, and almost always the cars have upgrades that are much appreciated, like Bluetooth, GPS, etc. Emerald Club members never have to go to the checkout counter, and when leaving the property, the gate checkout rarely takes more than a minute to do. Because I rent quite a bit throughout the year, my Executive Elite status allows me to drive some sweet vehicles for the basic rate. In fact, I'm rolling around right now in a Chevy Tahoe for the midsize rate! I'm never leaving National for another rental car company, and the thought has never even crossed my mind. The only thing that could make it better would be if I could transfer my perks of renting to my friends and family!
Nice location! A few mins walk from baggage. Fast and seamless process of getting in and out of the rental car center, courtesy of Emerald Club options. Friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely return back and use their services again. Highly recommended!
No problems. Quick service. Received my car without any wait. Had my choice of a Nissan Rogue and Chev Equinox, which I believe was an upgrade from my original reservation.
I arrived at the counter just before midnight, only one person in front of me in line, I didn't leave the airport until almost 1 am! The reason? They didn't have any keys at the checkout counter. Plenty of cars, but no keys. The person working the counter called down to get the keys brought up, she was told they were "on the way". 20 minutes later, still no keys. Keep in mind, the garage is a 2 minute walk from the counter. She calls down again and gets the same response. Maybe 5-10 minutes later, another employee comes sauntering up with a bucket of keys. Slowly makes his way behind the counter and leisurely gets himself set up to start helping the now long line of people waiting for cars. I am an Emerald Aisle member, but that apparently closes early at the Buffalo location.
Always a great experience at this location. Fast pickup, Friendly staff. They close at midnight, but they stayed open for our delayed flight arrival. Despite the late-or early-hour the staff we still top notch and peppy, both the young lady at the desk and young man starting his shift at 5am.
