After I rented this car mystery charges showed up with 2 different explanations. One was tolls. I always paid the tolls in cash so I asked for an explanation of what were the tolls. I was then told the charges were for an addition driver. Also paid as a part of the original contract. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY.
06/23/16 I arrive in Buffalo to visit my ailing parents only to be informed that my car rental reservation at the 4646 Genesee location was cancelled due to the location being closed for good. I did not receive a letter, call, or email since I made the reservation in February. Now I have to wait for my ailing father to pick me up. Thanks for ruining the surprise Payless.

From the moment I arrived at the airport it all started. The van I booked was not available, they over booked and sold out. We had to settle for a smaller vehicle which, wasn't big enough to accommodate my family. The agent was rude & was unable to adjust the price. The customer service hotline doesn't speak good English nor do they know how to take a complaint. Someone was supposed to get back to me in 72 hours. Great, just in time for me to head home. I had to call another location where someone tracked down the van I needed. Never got a response back from customer service. Then after returning the vehicle I got a pending charge of over $8,000 which the customer service agent reported that I requested a copy of my receipt. Nothing was resolved by them. I got hung up on, and vague responses which they kept trying to close out without resolving. They tried to blame it on my credit card without looking into. Over a month later still battling. Bottom line DON'T rent from this company. HORRIBLE customer service. Would rate as zero if it was an option.
I rented this car just before hurricane Irma and had travel issues trying to return on my return date. When I called to extend my rental date due to travel issues returning back from evacuation, they didn't extend my price rate I was initially giving instead almost double my rate. Knowingly I was unable to get it back in time. Plus charged me a extension fee. Never will I go here again. Stay away! DO NOT RENT from this Business!
